About

Hi! I am Donna, the creator of Donna Kay Design. As a young child, I discovered the joy of making every day beautiful. Growing up, some of my favorite summer pastimes were caring for plants, foraging for pretty blooms to bring inside to enjoy, and browsing home and garden magazines. Flowering continued to be a creative outlet for me as we were raising our children, and I created Donna Kay Design to share my love of florals and tablescapes on social media.

Once our children were grown, I decided to take my passion for flowers and styling and turn it into a full-time career as a professional stylist. I’ve had the honor to create unforgettable florals, tablescapes, and lifestyle settings for a local publishing company in Birmingham, Alabama. I feel so honored that my work has graced the beautiful pages of numerous magazines and books. 

Creating elaborate sets and unique floral displays for photo shoots ignited my passion even more, and I’m excited to bring this expertise to our clients and  customers. I have the privilege to now work with my daughters, and our passion is to infuse beauty and joy into your most cherished moments and celebrations.
